I'm Alexis — a wedding photographer drawn to the moments that can't be recreated. The glance across the room before anyone notices, the nervous squeeze of a hand, the laughter that interrupts a perfectly planned timeline. My approach is rooted in honest storytelling, creating imagery that feels true to your day rather than staged for the camera.
As a wife, mother to my daughter Remington, and graduate of West Virginia University, I understand how quickly life changes and how meaningful photographs become with time. The images I value most aren't always the perfectly posed ones—they're the moments that bring you back to exactly how it felt to be there.
My approach
Your wedding day isn't a photoshoot—it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I believe it should be lived fully.
My role is to preserve your day as it naturally unfolds while providing guidance when it's needed most. I'll gently direct you during portraits, help keep things moving smoothly, and create space for genuine connection, but I'll never force moments that don't belong. The best photographs happen when you're present with the people you love, not performing for a camera.
From the moment you step into your dress to the final moments of your celebration, I'm there to support you, advocate for you, and document the story as it truly felt. I take the time to learn what matters most to you so your images reflect more than just how your day looked—they reflect the people, relationships, and emotions that made it meaningful.
My hope is that when you look back on your gallery years from now, you won't simply remember what happened. You'll remember how it felt to be there.
